I am a contemporary realist artist who works primarily with oil, but I dabble in acrylics and charcoal. I paint still life, portraits, and landscapes. I currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida, but I am originally from New York. I hold a Bachelors in Environmental Science and English. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and painting. Most of my work is based on things I have seen or places I have explored. I like using textures and color to keep the viewer engaged. I am in search for meaning and symbols around me and am willing to go anywhere to find them. I am always looking to take my art to another level. I hope to learn from others as much as I can. My hope is to inspire others to explore their surroundings and their own creativity.
